BESTAR offers the scholarship:
A chance to become an entrepreneur
The team of company formation agents at BESTAR provides business consulting services to local and foreign entrepreneurs all over the world who want to start a business in Singapore. This city is one of the most attractive business destinations in the world and has been considered by the representatives of the World Bank as one of the best countries in terms of the ease of doing business.
We encourage foreign investors to open different types of companies in Singapore and help them with the incorporation procedure. We also want to attract young entrepreneurs all over the world and present them the advantages of starting a company in this business hub. That’s why we offer a scholarship for a foreign student who is passionate about entrepreneurship and who thinks of starting a business after graduating.
We will award $500 to a student who is interested in entrepreneurship and eventually is interested in opening a company in Singapore.
Eligibility criteria
To qualify for the BESTAR “A chance to become an entrepreneur” scholarship, an applicant must currently be enrolled in a course of study at any accredited college in the United States, including junior college, community college, undergraduate program, or graduate program.
Candidates must be in good academic standing and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above (they should present a proof for this requirement).
Application Requirements
To apply for our scholarship, candidates should provide the following: contact information, a resume, status as a student in the U.S. and a 700-word original essay about the business they intend to open after graduating (what field of activity they would choose and why, where they want to start their business, how they would finance it etc.)
Please send all the required documents via e-mail at office@lawyers-singapore.com by the deadline of May 1, 2019. The scholarship winner will be announced shortly after the deadline, on this webpage.
Scholarship application emails must include a subject line: name of the applicant – A chance to become an entrepreneur scholarship. The required documents should be attached to the e-mail.
